Stream her with roses and daisies, dear mother,
let all that she speak be all that that she hears.
For no higher, no higher let her forehead doth grow;
and so dote, dote my mother, my mother so dear
and let her run free with a conscience so clear

lions and turkeys and cats, oh my!

While I was showering just now (and if you know me well enough, you'll be able to anticipate the singing), I saw something white jump through the tiny toilet window. When I turned around, I could not believe my eyes when sitting next to the glass walls of my shower, sat a perfectly cute little black and white cat.

OK, that was my cat. Apparently acrobatic little Bubbles decided to come into my room, and seeing the wide open windows next to my bed, jumped up onto my bed, and onto the window ledge where my pormegranate plant is, and slipped into the perpendicular toilet window, so that she can watch water drip down the glass walls of my shower.

Adorable, yes, but scary. I guess I have to trust her acrobatic skills on this.

Also, I bring to you -

THE LIONFISH.

Also known as the Scorpion Fish, Dragon Fish, and Turkey Fish, it is a venomous marine and a voracious predator, and when hunting, corner their prey before quickly swallowing them whole. It has venomous dorsal, pelvic and anal spines, and its bite though easily cured, can cause great pain. Most syptoms of nausea, headache, hypertension etc are all caused by the high level of pain rather than the venom itself. It is mostly found in Indo-Pacific, but various breeds have been sighted around the world.

The picture above shows the Pterois radiata, or Clearfin Lionfish, one of its many species. The one below is the Twospot Turkey Fish.
