Fathers, be good to your daughters; daughters will love like you do.

you are the strength and the weight of her world

Stream her with roses and daisies, dear mother,
let all that she speak be all that that she hears.
For no higher, no higher let her forehead doth grow;
and so dote, dote my mother, my mother so dear
and let her run free with a conscience so clear

Who is Edward Cullen?

When I was walking out of class, (and in the process happily announced that I was going home), a classmate looked at me, and with an odd expression on her face, made it official.

"YOU ARE SO WIERD."

Haha. But that was probably because I came back to get my PE Uniform for NAPFA, and I refuse to do it in this sad, blue dress, and the white converse sneakers that, sadly, I don't love anymore. Except for that lovably little hole on the right of my right sneaker, big enough for my little toe to snuggly poke out and see the world. But seriously, there's no way I'm going to let those sneakers near the NAPFA testing hall.

Am planning to paint the sneakers after I graduate. Rawr.

An in the occasion of NAPFA, I shall make it clear to the world, once again.

I am the worst, most horrible, most unathletic teenager in the history of human kind. Even ping pong paddles hate me! (for those present at Clarissa's 13th birthday, you'll understand) No reason why I would get a gold award now, so yep. Wish me luck.

In commemoration of World Book Day, the school kindly had a booksale by Bookabura in our school for two days. I was so excited, because they had a discount for Twilight, but they were sold out yesterday. =( But I went today, and - THERE IT WAS. A tower of about 5-6 books, snugly and happily sitting there next to New Moon.

YAY.

Like an idiot, I grabbed Twilight, and bounced to the cashier to buy it. And Happy, Lovable Clarissa (ahem), gladly lent me some money to buy New Moon as well! So I hopped back, grabbed it, and cartwheeled towards the cashier, where an amused girl sat, struggling to keep the enourmous (I'm almost totally certain that it was the largest book there.) book on the table, that was cluttered with bookmarks and inventory sheets.

And I, like the happy idiot I am, waltz back into class, a happy owner of two new Stephenie Meyers books, where my classmate (amusingly also names Stephenie) sat in class, reading Twilight. Upon seeing the width of the sum of the books, which was about the vertical length of a palm, she broke into a grin and said, loudly - "NO WAY."

This obsession with Stephenie Meyers has something to do with Cara. I am sure as ketchup of it.

Oh, while we are on the subject of books, Clar has bought Tuck Everlasting, which I have reserved as 1st borrower, I have finished Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (which explains that funny poem in the previous blogpost). Later, I will be going to the Library to collect the book I reserved - Nineteen Minutes, which means Edward Cullen will have to wait.

But sometimes, Jodi is just worth it.

Who wants to come for EVENING BY THE F-ISH POND? Come, one and all, to watch Liang Hwei choke on her poetry reading. It is next friday, and you are welcome to order tickets through me. Though, I have no idea how much it is. Shouldn't be expensive, considering the seating...

Shan't say anymore. JUST COME.

he told me that I've done alright
and kissed me till the morning light
